ThIS YEAR’s PROJECT

WESTon Super Mare Vs Thorpe PARK

About the project

Threefold and National Theatre Connections are partnering to stage a new performance at Bristol Old Vic in April 2026.

Rehearsals are taking place at the Easton Community Centre, on Fridays 5 - 7pm during term time, starting on the 3rd October. It's a fantastic opportunity for young people to explore performance making, meet other young people with similar interests and work with professional theatre makers and nationally recognised theatre institutions.

About the play

"Ride or Die" by Florence Espeut-Nickless is a new play with wild, edge of your seat, over before you know it energy. When five siblings find themselves home alone without their brilliant nan and useless dad, they go on a wild adventure that ends up being a little more than they bargained for. Within the play is the ongoing debate which is best Thorpe Park or Alton Towers?! It’s a funny, surprising and touching look at how families come together in unexpected ways in the best and worst of times.

‘Just one unique night in which we’re utterly unafraid to be our barefoot selves…

knowing what it feels like to just be alive'

Last year Threefold and National Theatre Connections are partnering to stage ‘Ravers’  by Rikki Beadle-Blair. It was performed in our home venue in Easton and a performance at Bristol Old Vic in April 2025.
